When it comes to cutting and cross-cutting, seltertech handles a wide range of materials from metals to plastics.
Cutting and cross-cutting swaged brass pipes
Brass tubes that have been stretched to length in processing are cut to the required length using a fully automatic system with a fine-toothed saw blade. Tubes ranging in diameters of 4 to 10 mm and lengths of 85 to 135 mm can be cut according to the required lengths.
Cutting and cross-cutting plastic pipes
At seltertech, we can cut bundled plastic pipes to any desired length, using a (chopsaw). Pipes should be up to 4 m in length and 6 to 30 mm in diameter each.
Cutting and cross-cutting monofilaments
We can cut spooled monofilament to any lengths with our automatic cutter. The monofil may be between 1 to 3 mm in diameter. Cables with a thickness of 1.5 mm, can be printed using an inkjet printer. In fact, any text, numberings or date displays can be printed.
Cutting and cross-cutting PVC pipes
Using our automatic cutter, we can print and cut PVC pipes to your required lengths – pipes must be 2 to 8 mm in diameter. As such, we print both texts and numbers according to requirements.
PROCEDURE
Brass tubes are cut to predetermined lengths using a fully automatic machine that has a very fine-toothed saw blade. The saw consists of a large bunker, a separation unit with feed, the actual saw and a tray for finished parts. The processing results are refined by the fine teeth blade and with hardly any burrs.
The chop saw has a manual feed slot for cutting plastic pipes; up to 40 pieces are bundled together to be cut at the same time.
The structure for cutting and printing on monofils and PVC pipes, involves a combination of three devices. These are an apparatus for reeling and stretching, the printer and the actual cutting unit. Texts are entered into and edited by a PC for the printer.
Brass pipes with diameters ranging from 4 to 10 mm and lengths of 85 to 135 mm
Plastic tubes of 6 to 30 mm diameter and up to 4 m in length
Monofilament with a diameter of 1 to 3 mm
PVC tubes with a diameter of 2 to 8 mm
The exact tolerance length can be adhered to on swaged commodities. Further processing is professionalized in affiliated processes.
Plastic tube sections must not be stored in the inventory in their individual lengths, but can be made to order.
Monofilament and PVC tubes can be printed with their dimensions, production data, or other instructions. Different lengths are made to order and must not be kept in stock.
